Clues

The nearest parking to the boxes is the county lot on the
east side of the bridge. However, the lagoon is lovely and the walk from
the west parking area is not far (less than 1/4 mile), so if beach
walking isn't a problem, park there and walk over to the grounds by
following the right hand path down through the wetlands and down to the
ocean. From there, turn left and head towards the Adamson House.
#1 - The Boat House Box
Find the boat house on the grounds.
On the beach side of the boat house, you'll see a small path leading
down to the lagoon. There are a few steps here. At the bottom of the
stairs, stop.
On your left, you'll see the retaining wall makes a 90-degree turn
towards the water. The box is hidden under the plants where the angle in
the wall is located.
#2 - Surfrider Box
Find the swimming pool on the grounds.
On the beach side of the pool, you'll see a small path leading down
to the lower portion of the gardens.
Go down the first two steps and you'll see the path turn to the right
before going down seven more steps. Stop at the top of the seven steps.
Look to your left (if you can tear your eyes away from the ocean to
your right and in front of you) and you'll see a single person seat in
the shade formed by the wall (not the bench at the bottom of the seven
steps.)
Take a seat and enjoy the view. As you are relaxing, reach down into
the plants with your right hand. The box is hidden under that squat
palm-looking plant about a foot from where you sit under the bushes and
grasses. |
