Uploading to Your Free Host

By now, you should have taken care of getting some free spot on the internet to show off your incredible future website. This week, spend time getting to know your host better. The first thing you will need to figure out is how to upload, or send, files to their computer.

Some people will be able to upload using their web browser and a script the host has running. Others may need to use a special application for sending files over the internet, called FTP or file transfer protocol. Determine which you need by first trying to upload your test file - you still have that, right? If it uploads fine, then you are all set.
